United Kingdom Coaching Certificate (UKCC)

Introduction

The UKCC in Squash is a nationally recognised Vocational Qualification which is transferable across coaching in the whole of the United Kingdom.
It is also recognised across sport in the UK with 29 sports signing up to the UKCC process to develop an agreed, recognised and standardised sporting framework for coach education.
For further information regarding the UK Coaching Certificate, please visit the sportscoachUK site here.

Scottish Squash is endorsed to deliver the UKCC Level 1, 2 & 3 Coaching Squash courses by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) - who independently regulate and certificate the courses.
The UKCC Level 1 & 2 courses have been available since the 2007-08 season, and Scottish Squash was the first sport in Scotland to deliver a UKCC Level 3 in the 2008-09 season.

The UKCC Level 4 course is the equivalent of a Post Graduate Diploma level and is delivered in conjunction with a university.
