2019/20 Competition Calendar Update
Scottish Squash can confirm that the 2019/20 competition calendar has now been released. This follows the application windows for applying to host a Platinum competition and organise and deliver a Gold sanctioned competition. The calendar for the season can be found here.
The calendar currently includes the following:
- Platinum competitions and host clubs/facilities – further information here
- Gold sanctioned competitions and locations – further information here
- Regional Masters sanctioned competitions and locations
- Junior Excellence Programme and Youth Talent Squad Training Days
- A selection of key European and World competitions at junior, senior and master level
The online competitions calendar on the Scottish Squash website provides an overview of competitions for the season to support planning. Once competitions are open for entry they link to the appropriate competition section of the website: Junior Competitions, Senior Competitions, Masters Competitions. This section will then provide appropriate links to the relevant SportyHQ page.
For Bronze, Silver and Gold sanctioned competitions they will appear in the section once local competition organisers set-up and publish their competition on SportyHQ.
Bronze & Silver Sanctioned Competitions
A reminder that clubs/regions can apply for sanctioning to run the following level of competitions.
Junior Bronze | Adult Bronze | Junior Silver | Adult Silver | Adult/Junior Silver (combined).
Bronze Sanctioned Competitions
For clubs/regions wishing to apply for sanctioning at Bronze level, they are required to complete the online sanction application a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the competition. Further information and the online sanction application can be found here.
Silver Sanctioned Competitions
For clubs/regions wishing to apply for sanctioning at Silver level, they are required to complete the online sanction application a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the competition. Further information and the online sanction application can be found here.
