Junior and Senior Selection Criteria Announced; New Senior Order of Merit Rankings Confirmed
Scottish Squash are pleased to announce the publication of the Junior and Senior Selection Criteria for representative events for season 2023-24. With an exciting season ahead no doubt full of fierce competition, Scottish Squash wish the best of luck to all players. In line with the announcement of the selection criteria, entry links for the first Senior and Junior Gold sanctioned competitions can be found below.
Senior Gold (1): Aberdeen Squash & Racketball Club, 30 September – 1 October, 2023
Junior Gold (1): Grange Sports Club, 14 – 15 October, 2023
New Order of Merit Ranking Points Structure Announced
Scottish Squash are also pleased to confirm details of the new Senior Order of Merit rankings points structure which will take effect for season 2023-24. The Order of Merit provides senior players the opportunity to be awarded points based on their finishing position at Senior Gold sanctioned competitions throughout the season, with double points available in the new year at Bridge of Allan SC for Senior Gold (4) in February, and at Newlands LTC for the Scottish Senior National Championships in May 2024.
The Order of Merit is an exciting opportunity for players to track their progress over the course of a season and compete for standings. The updated standings for both male and female players will be published by Scottish Squash after each points event; be sure to follow Scottish Squash via the channels below for latest updates.
