Everything you need to know ahead of the Springfield Scottish Squash Open 2023

With the Springfield Scottish Squash Open 2023 set to get underway in Inverness tomorrow (Wednesday 20th September), we take a look at all the key details before the competition starts. 

Whether you are planning to attend and take in the action live, or you are hoping to follow the best of the action from afar, this guide has all the information to help you keep up to date with the best of the action. 

Draw and results 

The draw for the Springfield Scottish Squash Open is available on the official event website at the following link.

We will post key results from throughout the day on our social media channels, and will post a roundup of the days action on the official event website at the end of play. 

The Professional Squash Association website will also show live scores from matches at the competition, and these can be viewed here as the action progresses. 

Tickets 

Tickets for the Springfield Scottish Squash Open 2023 are still available to purchase on Eventbrite. 

Prices start from just £10 plus fees, with tickets still available for all sessions of play. 

Weekend ticket sales have exceeded those from last year, and we would encourage individuals that wish to attend to purchase their tickets as soon as they can to avoid missing out. 

Streaming  

For those that can’t attend the event in person, the semi-finals and finals will be broadcast live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport website. 

The semi-finals and finals take place on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th September. The four semi-finals and two finals will be available across the BBC and other partner channels. Look out for further information as the competition progresses. 

The schedule of available matches with live coverage is detailed below. 

Semi-Finals – Saturday 23rd September 

Session 1 – Live from 14:00 (matches include – women’s semi-final & men’s semi-final) 

Session 2 – Live from 19:00 (matches include – women’s semi-final & men’s semi-final) 

Finals – Sunday 24th September 

Live from 15:00 (matches include – men’s final & women’s final) 

Venue 

For those travelling to Inverness for the event, the venue is centrally located and no more than a ten-minute walk from the city centre. 

There will be a bar and catering options available at the venue during all sessions, with delicious food options planned for each day of the action. 

Live Rugby World Cup matches will also be broadcast at the venue, allowing fans to combine top squash action with all the big action from France.
