New improved UKCC Level 1 Coaching Course

As we strive to increase participation and develop opportunities for all groups within our communities to experience and enjoy squash, a sport for life, so we need willing volunteers and coaches to help this with this process.

Our first formal qualification, UKCC Level 1 in squash coaching has been improved to allow coaches to work, not as assistants, but as coaches in their own right delivering to groups of beginner children/adults, improvers and to help facilitate competition / social play. All the skills necessary to start and successfully run a club programme.

Our first course of this type was held at Watsonians SC at the weekend and was great success. All candidates enjoyed the experience and we hope they will get out there and make full use of their new skills

At Scottish Squash we have a full range of courses available, both formal and informal, should you be interested in getting involved in a sport that stood out at the recent Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and is growing in popularity as a result.
