Become a Partner of the Scotland National Teams at the 2024 World Team Championships

Scottish Squash is seeking partners to support the country’s top squash players in the World Team Squash Championship, taking place in Hong Kong this December.

The 2024 edition will see the men’s and women’s competitions taking place simultaneously for the first time in the event’s history.

With a significant cost attached to send the teams, the support of brands and businesses will be crucial in supporting the team’s participation in the tournament.

Scotland’s women and men both secured excellent eighth place finishes in the 2022 and 2023 events respectively.

Most recently, Scotland’s men travelled to New Zealand last December, and gathered significant interest and support nationally and on the global stage.

Scottish Squash social media channels garnered over a quarter of a million impressions from the event, with significant coverage in national newspapers – and Sky television coverage in the host nation.

The event will provide crucial experience at the world level, which will help support the Olympic dreams of Scotland’s top players ahead of the sport’s inaugural inclusion at the LA 2028 Games.

Partners can access a range of benefits, including a prominent front of kit sponsorship and sleeve sponsorships to ensure your brand is represented on court in the sport’s top teams event.

Partnership opportunities are available for all levels of budget, with packages starting from just £500, with every pound pledged supporting Scottish sporting excellence.

Scottish Squash Chief Executive Maggie Still said: “This year’s World Teams Championship is a fantastic opportunity for Scotland’s squash stars to fly the flag for Scotland in China.

“Events like these provide an opportunity for Scottish athletes to take on some of the very best players in the world, and they have been hugely successful in doing so in recent years.

“We are keen to find partners looking to support Scottish sporting excellence, as the athletes target continued success in the years ahead – as well as their Olympic dreams.

“Participation at events like these is only possible with the support of generous partners, and we look forward to welcoming new brands to our partner family in support of the team.”

Scottish Squash Non-Executive Director (Commercial & Stakeholders) Marc Hope said: “The World Teams Championship in Hong Kong represents an excellent opportunity for businesses looking to support the very best of Scottish sport.

“With significant exposure in Hong Kong and China, the partnerships are ideal for brands looking for exposure in Asia as well as in Scotland.

“With squash set for the Olympics in 2028, and with the growth of squash as a participation sport, there has never been a better time to support squash in Scotland.”
