Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport – Virtual Course

Scottish Squash have arranged to run a Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport course on Tuesday 8th October from 6pm to 9pm.

There is also a requirement to complete a course module online prior to attending the virtual course. Details of the online module will be shared by the course tutor. You can find out further information about the course on the sportscotland website by clicking here.

This qualification is ideal for those that wish to apply for a Coach Licence, those making their first steps as a Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer and volunteers at clubs.

This course is open to any volunteer, coach, club member or parent who is 16 years or older, and is not limited to individuals involved in squash.

This course will be delivered fully online and has a maximum of 24 spaces, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The link to join the course will be shared with registered candidates shortly before the 8th October.

Course cost – £25 per candidate. A discounted rate of just £10, is available to the following groups:

  • Individuals who have completed a Level 1 Coaching Course in the last 12 months
  • Individuals who are enrolled in a Level 1 coaching course in 2024/25
  • Members of the Scottish Squash Coach Licence requiring a full renewal
  • Individuals with an active Squash in Scotland Player membership
