LA28 Organising Committee Recommends Squash for Inclusion in 2028 Summer Olympic Games
Scottish Squash welcomes the announcement from the LA28 Organising Committee which has recommended the sport’s inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games.
The decision is a significant and exciting milestone in squash’s history as the sport nears inclusion in the Games for the first time.
The World Squash Federation will work together with LA28 and the International Olympic Committee throughout the next steps of the process and look forward to the outcome of the IOC Session in Mumbai on 16 October, where the decision on the selection of new sports will be ratified.
Scottish Squash would like to thank the World Squash Federation, US SQUASH & the Professional Squash Association, along with other partners, for the continued work to secure squash’s inclusion in LA2028.
