Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scottish internationalist John Rae. John passed away peacefully on Saturday evening with Michelle and his family at his bedside.

John was a talented squash player who enjoyed unprecedented success at regional, national and international level. He represented Scotland at masters level on numerous occasions and was always spoken very highly of by his team mates. John always had a smile on his face and will be remembered for the competitive attitude, teamwork and talent that he always displayed.  

John will be greatly missed by everyone who had the opportunity of knowing him. There will be many people that feel privileged to have known John and to have spent time with him.

The funeral will be on Friday 15th November at 2.30pm at Camelon Crematorium in Falkirk. The family have welcomed the wearing of Scotland and/or club squash kit in order to honour John’s involvement and love for the sport.
