Scottish Squash Annual Awards 2023: Everything you need to know
The Scottish Squash Annual Awards are set to make their return as an in-person event this year, for the first time since 2016.
Scotland’s squash community is invited to the biggest annual celebration of the sport, with seven awards up for grabs to recognise squash excellence.
The evening will be supported by the UK’s leading provider of fitness qualifications, The Fitness Group, who are the headline sponsors for the awards in 2023.
The Fitness Group help train thousands of personal trainers, fitness instructors, sports massage therapists and sports nutritionists every year.
It will be an evening to remember, as the first awards ceremony since Scotland’s historic bronze medal in the men’s doubles at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham last year.
The event will take place at the historic Glasgow University Union on Saturday 7th October from 7pm, with a two-course hot buffet and a live ceilidh band, as well as the presentation of the awards.
The annual awards provide an opportunity to celebrate clubs and individuals that make significant contributions to squash in Scotland.
The prizes up for grabs are Senior Player of the Year, Masters Player of the Year, Junior Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Referee of the Year, Club of the Year and the Services to Squash Award.
Nominations are open now, so make sure to get yours in before they close on Monday 10th July at 11am.
