Scottish Squash Coach Licence Launched

Scottish Squash are pleased to be launching a new Scottish Squash Coach Licence for all qualified coaches operating in Scotland. The first phased launch of the Coach Licence is aimed at ensuring and improving excellent governance that coaches in Scotland are operating under and also improving communication between Scottish Squash and coaches.

In order to apply for a Coach Licence coaches will require:

  • A squash specific coaching qualification (minimum level 1 or equivalent).
  • A valid child wellbeing and protection in sport certificate, or equivalent (if coaching children).
  • A PVG membership (if coaching children).

All coaches involved in delivering and supporting Scottish Squash programmes and international teams will require a Coach Licence.

A Coach Licence is suitable for any current active qualified coaches but also qualified coaches that may not be currently active but are interested in being kept up-to-date with coach development opportunities.

Full details and a link to the online application can be found on the Scottish Squash website.
