Season 2022/23: Masters Regionals Competitions **Updated**
Previous Announcement August 2022
The Masters Regionals circuit consists of five Scottish Squash sanctioned competitions which precede the Scottish Masters National Championships. Out of our six regions, the region hosting the Masters National Championships does not host a Masters Regionals competition. This season, it has been confirmed that Aberdeen Squash and Racketball Club in the Grampian region will host the Masters National Championships from 3–5 March, 2023.
Three confirmed regional venues are detailed below for West, East and Central. News regarding the venue for the Highlands & Islands Masters Regionals will be published in due course (see below).
We look forward to these events and wish to thank all regional committees for their organisational efforts thus far.
Unfortunately, we must announce this year that Tayside & Fife will not host a Masters Regionals event due to ongoing refurbishments in the region. In its place, we would like to thank Dumfries Squash & Racketball Club who have agreed to host a Masters Regionals competition in September.
This second event in the West region is unique for season 2022/23 due to the aforementioned circumstances. We very much look forward to the return of Masters Regionals squash to Tayside & Fife next season and wish them well as they continue work on facilities.
Best of luck to all involved in the Masters Regionals circuit for what will surely be a competitive and enjoyable season.
